Dec Group acquires pharmaceutical aseptic fill-finish expert BAUSCH Germany GmbH

capiton portfolio company Dec Group is proud to announce the acquisition of the activities of Hainspitz-based BAUSCH Germany, a specialist for the design, manufacture, and supply of high-quality pharmaceutical aseptic fill-finish packaging solutions.

With almost 25 years of experience, BAUSCH Germany has built a reputation as an innovative and reliable partner for pharmaceutical companies around the world, underpinning its value proposition by developing highly customized solutions and delivering exceptional service. Besides its outstanding product portfolio of aseptic processing systems for stable containers such as vials, cartridges, ampoules, bottles, and syringes, BAUSCH Germany is also recognized as a leading manufacturer of aseptic filling machines for IV bags.

Following the acquisition, BAUSCH Germany will operate as a subsidiary of Dec Group under the name DEC Filling Germany GmbH.

By combining BAUSCH Germany’s extensive liquid filling know-how and established reputation with Dec’s state-of-the-art containment and unique powder dispensing technologies, the combined group reinforces its expertise and position as an integrated and leading supplier of innovative aseptic filling solutions.

Transaction summary

Sellers and buyers have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction. Dec was advised by Lupp+Partner (Legal), FTI Andersch (Financial), and EY (Tax).
