In December 2008, capiton acquired shares in fruitwork Group within the course of an expansion financing. The Group is one of the largest German suppliers of dried fruit and nuts. fruitwork sources fruit from selected plantations worldwide, processes the fruit, and supplies to almost every food retail chain in Germany. Alongside dried fruit and nuts, fruitwork also supplies conventional fruit and fresh organic fruit. fruitwork Group has earned an excellent reputation among its customers based on its wide range of products and outstanding quality, as well as its mastering of complex logistics requirements. Following significant growth and realignment of the company, capiton sold its shares to the existing shareholders and fruitwork management at the end of 2015.
