Cedes AG, which is headquartered in Landquart, Switzerland, is a leading manufacturer of sensor technology for lifts and doors. Its products, which work with infrared and image processing technology, are used for the automation of lifts, escalators and building entrances. Cedes was established in 1986. Its workforce of around 320 people generated sales of some CHF55 million in 2019. In conjunction with the management team, capiton plans to leverage the company’s innovative new products to grow the business organically and also ensure inorganic growth through additional acquisitions in adjacent niche markets.
